Sealer

When you use Natural Stone such as Sandstone, limestone, marble, granite etc in your home, they give off a beautiful look. But to keep them looking great, you need to take care of them properly. These stones have different levels of porosity, which means some can get stains or marks more easily than others. That's why it's important to seal them well when you first install them, not just on the top and bottom, but also on the sides.

Before you pick a sealer for your stone, think about a few things. How tough is your stone? Will the sealer change how it looks? How easily can stuff soak into it? Consider what kind of stone it is, its finish, where it'll be in your home, and how you'll take care of it before you decide on a sealer.

Tips for Preventing Stains and Marks :-

Putting a sealer on your natural stones helps stop them from getting stained and gives you more time to clean up spills. But even with a sealer, the stone can still get marks from regular use. To prevent big marks, clean up spills fast.

Simple Maintenance:-

You can do a simple water drop test to see if your natural stone needs sealing. Just put a tablespoon of water on the stone and wait for about 15 minutes. If the stone gets darker or the water soaks in within 4 minutes, it needs to be sealed again. You can do this test every few months to keep an eye on your stone's condition.
